Hand Sanitizer Fire

One squirt burns for almost 2 minutes!

We all know that alcohol based hand sanitizers are flammable. But long do they burn? See the video below and find out yourself.

This simple test was done in room temperature at 19oC. The bowl was cold at the start of the test. We used a single squirt of the alcohol hand sanitizer for this test – the same amount (or less) that a person would use to disinfect their hands.

This stuff is used throughout NHS

We believe that there is a reason behind using alcohol based hand sanitizer by NHS. Be it simply no other alternative. A single squirt of this alcohol based hand sanitizer burned with a 5cm high flame for almost 2 minutes. You can only imagine the kind of damage that 500ml bottles, spread out throughout the hospital corridors and wards, would do.

Alcohol free alternative from Soapopular

Now there is an alternative. Non alcohol hand sanitizer changed the hand sanitizer market. It is non-flammable, doesn’t dry skin, it works longer and doesn’t put people in danger of fire. The solution is provided by Soapopular – Canadian company – who became market leaders in alcohol free hand sanitizer. Superbug Ongoing Solutions has sole distribution rights to Scotland.
